The Library System’s Computing and Instructional Media Support Team has developed and tested a new student/public logon system which includes the ability to prevent multiple logons from a single AccessID. This has been done to promote equal student access to computing resources, in accordance with the University’s Acceptable Use of Information Technology Policy (http://wayne.edu/policies/acceptable-use.php). testing took place in the UGL and the system will be pushed to the rest of the Library System computers on August 24.
If you are a student and cannot login to a computer, it may be for one of the following reasons:
1. Only one logon at a time is permitted per AccessID so if you have shared your AccessID or WSU credentials, you may not log in to a second computer.
2. You may have unknowingly left a terminal logged on and now another student or non-student is using the machine. In this case, contact someone at a library service desk to assist you.
