The performing arts will again take center stage starting this month in the Richard J. Mazurek, M.D., Medical Education Commons.
The third season of Arts in the Atrium gets under way on Thursday, October 25 from noon to 1 p.m. when the Wayne State University School of Medicine Writing Workshop read their poetry, short stories and present sketches.
Arts in the Atrium is sponsored by the Shiffman Medical Library and the School of Medicine. The series of seasonal performances offers a period of art and relaxation for students, staff, faculty and the community. The programs are designed to highlight the artistic talents of students, staff and faculty of both the library and the School of Medicine.
The performance will take place on the first floor of the Mazurek Medical Education Commons, in the general reading area in front of the Shiffman Medical Library.
