As I reflect on all we have accomplished over
the past year, I’m struck by the major role that
collaboration and partnerships have played in our
success. We could not have accomplished all we did
without our collaborators!

The Open Textbook Adoption Task Force recently presented four faculty members with Open Textbook Adoption Awards, resulting in approximately $30,000 in savings to students and immediate access to students enrolled in those courses. An open textbook is a textbook licensed under an open copyright license, and made available online to be used freely. Many open textbooks are distributed in either print, e-book or audio formats that may be downloaded or purchased at little or no cost.

“Stories you read when you're the right age never quite leave you. You may forget who wrote them or what the story was called. Sometimes you'll forget precisely what happened, but if a story touches you it will stay with you, haunting the places in your mind that you rarely ever visit.”
― Neil Gaiman
