The UGL welcomes the Academic Success Center's Peer Assisted Learning (PAL) Program to the Collaborative Commons on the second floor. PAL offers FREE tutoring, supplemental instruction, and study groups for students.

Mapping the Past: Interpreting maps as primary sources of 1967
Sept.27, 6 p.m., Reuther Library Join Reuther Library archivists and Detroitography for a hands-on event about the ways maps can be used to inform or misinform the public. Visitors will be able to investigate original historical maps used in 1967 exhibits at the Reuther Library and the Detroit Historical Museum, and will have an opportunity to discuss their own interpretations of these tools.

The Purdy/Kresge Library offers a more traditional library atmosphere with wireless internet, over 60 computers, a large print collection and ample quiet study space on all floors. It is also home to the Teaching Commons, a collaboration between the University Libraries, the Office for Teaching and Learning, and Computing and Information Technology (C&IT).
