Mapping the Past: Interpreting maps as primary sources of 1967
Sept.27, 6 p.m., Reuther Library Join Reuther Library archivists and Detroitography for a hands-on event about the ways maps can be used to inform or misinform the public. Visitors will be able to investigate original historical maps used in 1967 exhibits at the Reuther Library and the Detroit Historical Museum, and will have an opportunity to discuss their own interpretations of these tools.

Emergency Guidelines

  1. Familiarize yourself with all Exit locations.
  2. Evacuate the building when the Fire Alarm is activated and proceed to the Outside Assembly Area.
  3. In case of fire, DO NOT use the elevators.
  4. In the event of severe weather warning, proceed to a desginated Tornado Shelter Area, Restroom or Basement as necessary or instructed to do so by Management.
